About the C++ Developer – Gdansk, Ukraine Role
Quod Financial is looking for a C++ Developer – Gdansk, Ukraine to join our Connectivity Development team. This full-time on-site position is open to both trainee and junior developers with a passion for performance-oriented C++ programming.
As a C++ Developer – Gdansk, Ukraine, you’ll help design, develop, and maintain high-performance connectivity systems that link our trading platform to global financial markets.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize modern C++ components for market connectivity.
- Integrate trading systems with financial exchanges, venues, and data providers.
- Ensure low-latency, robust, and reliable communication services.
- Work closely with QA, DevOps, and engineering teams to deliver production-ready solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot live systems in real-time.
Requirement
- Proficiency in modern C++ (C++11/14/17), with focus on multithreading and memory management.
- Experience with network programming (TCP/UDP, sockets, multicast).
- Strong problem-solving skills and good communication abilities.
- Upper-intermediate English for effective collaboration.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Knowledge of market data protocols (e.g., FIX, ITCH).
- Experience with low-latency systems or trading infrastructure.
