LONDON — September 16th, 2026 — Quod Financial, a trading technology company with more than two decades of experience building and operating FIX connectivity infrastructure, today announced the launch of Quazar, an AI-native FIX fabric that unifies routing, message transformation, session management and monitoring into a single platform. Quazar is available immediately at quazar.org, free for buy-side firms for up to ten connections.
FIX was designed as a common language for the buy and sell side to communicate orders, executions and market data. In practice, every counterparty implements it differently, with separate versions, custom tags and one-off mapping rules, turning what should be routine connectivity work into a slow, expensive, and highly manual process. Certification delays and legacy per-connection network fees have made it difficult for firms to onboard new counterparties quickly or affordably.
“Quod Financial is releasing Quazar, a FIX transformation tool that is designed to be available to the buy side free of charge and provide a more than 10 times cost saving to the sell side,” said Medan Gabbay, co-CEO at Quod Financial. “This product contains twenty years of IP and our experience — and our pain — in working with FIX and FIX manipulation. It’s something we have needed and built out over years, and now we are making it available to the market with a view to making FIX transformation accessible. We are reimagining the FIX bridge for an AI era.“
Quazar was built out of Quod Financial’s own operational needs. Managing thousands of inbound and outbound gateways for its own trading platforms, across three generations of connectivity technology, the company built a solution to solve that problem internally. It then became obvious that the wider industry faced the same barrier. “Existing FIX connections and FIX solutions are extremely expensive, and this is actually the barrier in the industry at the moment to people moving ahead with this type of technology.” Medan Gabbay said.
The platform is built AI-native rather than retrofitted with AI features. Two capabilities are central to daily use: automated triage, which surfaces errors, related messages and logs to speed up troubleshooting, and AI-generated transformation rule sets, which are created directly from a counterparty’s specification rather than mapped by hand, compressing what has traditionally taken weeks of manual FIX certification into hours.
Pricing reflects Quod Financial’s stated goal of removing cost as a barrier to connectivity. Buy-side firms can download and run the full platform — routing, transformation, session management and monitoring — free for up to ten inbound connections. For the sell side, Quazar is priced to deliver more than 10 times the cost saving of legacy connectivity providers, with no plugin costs, no per-client costs, no scaling costs and no network fees.
Quazar can be deployed on-premise or hosted by Quod Financial as a managed service. Firms that self-host retain full control of their order flow: message data is processed and stored within their own environment and is not transmitted to Quod Financial. The company also offers a fully managed option, including session management, counterparty onboarding and monitoring, for firms that prefer Quod Financial to operate the platform on their behalf.
Quazar is proprietary software, built, supported and maintained by Quod Financial, ensuring a single coherent platform that can receive centralized updates. The company has opened the platform’s edges rather than its core: transformation plugins can be built and shared openly, the platform is accessible through a REST API, and it supports bring-your-own-LLM and MCP integration so firms can connect their own models and agents directly.
Quazar is available now at quazar.org. Buy-side firms can download the platform directly.
