About the Role
Quod Financial is hiring a Software Support Engineer in Cochin to join our global Support and Operations team — a full-time, on-site role open to mid-level engineers who want to keep critical multi-asset trading platforms running around the clock.
In this role, you will provide Level 1 and Level 2 support and help on-board new clients onto Quod Financial’s SaaS platform. In addition, the position runs across two shifts, including evening and night shifts, and all work is conducted in English. Moreover, candidates must be willing to work onsite, both temporary and permanent, and be available for shift rotations.
Responsibilities
- 01Support Level 1 (phone and email support) and Level 2 (diagnosis and resolutions) of our global platform
- 02Operations and monitoring of the platforms, including proactive operations on the SaaS environments
- 03Daily operations of the systems, which would include early shifts, night shifts and weekend works
- 04Participate on release management and automation of release management
- 05Participate on long term improvements of the operations
- 06Possibility of short on-site assignments
Requirements
- Good knowledge of Linux and scripting (perl, shell)
- Good command of databases (e.g. Oracle, or an open source type), and SQL languages
- Fluent English, with ability to provide phone support
- Python
- Past experience in trading systems
