About the Support Engineer Role
We are hiring a Support Engineer to join our on-site teams in Cochin, Gdansk, Toronto, and Ukraine. This is a full-time role available for Trainee, Junior, and Mid-level candidates who are passionate about solving technical problems and supporting live trading environments.
As a Support Engineer – Cochin, Gdansk, Toronto, Ukraine, you will be the first point of contact for clients and the critical link between our customers and engineering teams. You will work in a high-paced environment, providing support for our trading solutions, APIs, and backend services.
Responsibilities
- Act as the bridge between clients and internal teams to ensure smooth communication and issue resolution.
- Support core trading products, including backend microservices, trading APIs (FIX, REST), and integration scripts.
- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and developers to investigate and resolve issues in real-time.
- Help monitor system performance and improve reliability through feedback and testing.
- Work under pressure and prioritize tasks in time-sensitive environments.
Requirement
- Comfortable working in Linux environments (CLI), and writing bash or Python scripts.
- Experience using SQL to query and analyze data.
- Strong problem-solving mindset — you enjoy challenges and finding solutions.
- Confident communication in spoken and written English (Upper-Intermediate level).
- Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with monitoring or debugging trading systems.
- Familiarity with FIX protocol or REST-based integration.
- Exposure to financial software or real-time data platforms.
