About the QA General – Ukraine Role
Quod Financial is hiring a QA General – Ukraine (remote) to join our Performance Engineering team. This is a full-time position ideal for junior to mid-level QA engineers who want to grow in performance testing and automation within a global FinTech environment.
As a QA Engineer, you’ll focus on automating and executing performance tests, troubleshooting issues on Linux, and improving test workflows. You’ll work closely with development and QA colleagues to ensure our desktop trading applications run fast and reliably.
This role is remote, but you’ll collaborate daily with international teams—so clear communication and English proficiency are essential.
Responsibilities

Test and analyze the performance of our desktop applications to meet quality and speed benchmarks.

Write automated tests using Python to validate application performance and stability.

Use Linux environments to run tests, monitor logs, and assess hardware load.

Work with developers and other QA team members to resolve performance issues.

Contribute to the improvement of our performance testing tools and processes.
Requirement

1–3 years of experience in QA, software testing, or development.

Basic experience writing automation scripts in Python.

Familiarity with Linux for running tests and troubleshooting issues.

Strong analytical and communication skills.

Upper-intermediate spoken English to collaborate with global colleagues.
Nice-to-Have Skills

Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or Locust.

Understanding of performance testing concepts (e.g., load, stress, latency).

Familiarity with pytest, FlaUI, or other test frameworks.

Experience with tools for inspecting desktop applications (e.g., FlaUInspect).

Interest in performance metrics and continuous improvement.
